3d imagery how to make

To make my two final images we had to first take the original images. The way i made these was to take 2 original images. One from the left eye and one from the right.

You then need to open them in photoshop. Each image needs to be in a separate layer on the same picture.

Make sure you have selected Layer 1. Then select Image from the top menu bar. Then Adjustments and then Levels.

This will now open a new box.

From this you need to select red from the drop down box for channels. Once selected the output will read 255. This needs to be changed to 0.

You now need to select screen from the layers box.

Layer 1 is now complete. You now need to select the Background layer. Going back into Image - Adjustments - Levels, change the channel to green and the output to 0.

Repeat the above step again, still on the background layer, changing the channel to blue this time.

Both layers are now complete and should appear 3 dimensional through 3d glasses. However if there is to big a space between the left and right eye image this will need correcting before it will work. To do this select the move tool and move Layer 1 closer to the background layer until it appears 3 dimensional.
