To add text to an image select the Text button in the left hand tool bar. If you hover over the text button you can select horizontal or vertical text positioning.
You can change the colour of your text by clicking on the colour box on the left hand menu bar. This will open a new box for you to choose all different shades of colours. It is best to use a colour from within your image.
Once you have selected the text button extra text options open in the menu bar. By clicking on the drop down box next to each option you can change the font and the size of your text.
Once you have selected your desired font click on your image where you want the text to start. Once you have typed your text if you highlight it you can still change the font and size.
If you wish to move your text to a new position, click just away from your text, the text will then follow your mouse cursor. Click on the new desired place for your text and it will move it there. You can also stop the harshness of the text by selecting opacity in the layers box and sliding the bar to the desired effect.
Once the text is how you wish don't forget to flatten your layers and save your final image.
